The Board of Directors is committed to ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance are practiced through the Manager, FCOT and its subsidiaries, as a fundamental part of its responsibility to protect and enhance Unitholders’ value.

The Board comprises of six members, three of whom are independent directors, another who is an executive director and remaining two of whom are non-executive directors. The Board brings with it a broad range of industry knowledge, expertise and experience in real estate, accounting, finance, business, management and strategic planning.

Dr Chua Yong Hai is the Chairman and an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board. He brings to the Board many years of top management and corporate governance experience in the government, real estate, engineering and manufacturing sectors. In the public sector, his last positions were Director of Investments in the Ministry of Finance and concurrently the first General Manager of Temasek Holdings Private Limited, the Singapore government investment holding vehicle. He had also held directorships in many other organizations in the Asia Pacific region including both SGX Main Board and ASX-listed companies. A qualified chemical engineer, Dr Chua holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the then University of Singapore and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.

Mr Low Chee Wah is the Chief Executive Officer of FCOT and Executive Director of the Board. He works with the Board to determine the overall business and investment strategy of FCOT and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Trust. Mr Low also works closely with the management team to ensure that the Trust's finance, investment and asset management strategies are executed integrally and successfully.

Mr Low joined Frasers Centrepoint Limited in March 2007 and has over 15 years of investment banking experience and has extensive experience in investments, divestments, capital raisings and takeovers. Mr Low holds a double degree, Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws, from Monash University, Australia. He is also a member of CPA Australia.

Mr Chay Wai Chuen is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board. Mr Chay brings with him a wealth of experience gained in his extensive career, having worked with NTUC Fairprice Cooperative Ltd, Grocery Logistics of Singapore Pte Ltd and Guocoland Retail Management Pte Ltd. He is presently a director of Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises. He was also previously a Member of Parliament in Singapore from 1988 to 2006, and for many years a member of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament. Mr Chay graduated with a Master degree in Social Sciences in International Economics and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) degree from University of Singapore, and obtained a Master of Arts in Development Economics from University of Sussex. Mr Chay also completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Mr Chia Khong Shoong is a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Mr Chia is also the Chief Financial Officer of Frasers Centrepoint Limited.

Mr Chia has over 15 years of experience in financial, commercial and strategic issues across a number of different sectors in Southeast Asia, North America and Europe. Prior to joining FCL, he worked at HSBC, Salomon Smith Barney / Citigroup and Schroders where he focused on corporate finance advisory, M&A and capital markets.

Mr Chia is a director of Frasers Property (China) Limited, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and a director of Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management, the manager of Frasers Centrepoint Trust. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia and also a MPhil in Management Studies from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University.

Mr Lim Ee Seng is a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Mr Lim joined Frasers Centrepoint Limited (FCL) in October 2004 as its Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the management and performance of the FCL group of companies' entire portfolio of real estate business both locally and overseas. These include property development, property investment, the Retail and Office REIT, and an international chain of serviced apartments.

Mr Lim is the Chairman of Frasers Property (China) Ltd, a Hong Kong listed property company. Mr Lim has more than 27 years of experience in the real estate industry. From 1996 to October 2004, he was the Managing Director of MCL Land Limited. From 1989 to 1996, Mr Lim was the General Manager of the property division of First Capital Corporation Ltd.

Mr Lim holds a Masters degree in Project Management and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Board member of the Building & Construction Authority of Singapore, and a council member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2000 to 2004, and the current 2nd Vice President of the Real Estate Development Association of Singapore. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Singapore.

Mr Tan Guong Ching is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board. He brings a wealth of board and property related experience thanks to his extensive and successful career with the Singapore Civil Service, public and private companies. Mr Tan is the Chairman of StarHub Limited, a Singapore-based info-communications company and Chairman of Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd, STT Communications Pte Ltd and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Limited. Mr Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering with Dean’s Honours in 1970 and a Master of Engineering in 1972, both from McMaster University, Canada.

Mr Christopher Tang is a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Mr Tang is also the Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Centrepoint Commercial, the FCL Business Division responsible for retail and office assets and SGX-listed REITs.

Mr Tang has over 21 years of experience in asset management, investment management, marketing and operations in the real estate and manufacturing industries. Between April 2006 and February 2010, Mr Tang held the CEO post of Frasers Centrepoint Trust.

Prior to joining the Fraser & Neave Group, Mr Tang held senior positions with DBS Bank, DBS Land and British Petroleum. Mr Tang is a member of the Management Board of Asian Public Real Estate Association (APREA), the representative body for the publicly traded real estate sector in Asia. He is also a Director of listed companies - China Dairy Group Ltd and Frasers Property (China) Limited. Mr Tang holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the National University of Singapore.
